Aaron Smith is a co-founder at CDS in San Jose, CA. CDS is a 10 year old web company that helps Industrial Suppliers grow sales, generate leads, & build customer loyalty by providing innovative eCommerce solutions.
Aaron has more than 20 years of eCommerce, PDM, CAD, & Configurator leadership experience with Applied Materials, PTC, & CDS. As the Director of Business Development at CDS, Aaron is responsible for the company’s sales and marketing initiatives. CDS is partnering with Autodesk to leverage the Forge platform to better connect CAD users with manufacturers’ online product data and CAD models.
Aaron is passionate about helping CAD engineers save valuable design time by downloading 3D CAD models for purchased components while at the same time helping manufacturers to leverage their websites to better serve their customers.
