Learn about the Forge Design Automation API for Inventor

Are you a developer working with the Inventor API, or building Inventor apps? Come join us on Tuesday, May 7, at 8:00 am Pacific to learn how to apply the Forge Design Automation API to your Inventor processes to improve responsiveness, lower costs, and improve reliability.

In this webinar, we will discuss how the Design Automation API for Inventor empowers customers and partners to get more work done more quickly and reliably using cloud-based web services. We will demonstrate how you can automate your most common, manual, and error-prone work to improve responsiveness and free up your time so you can focus on more valuable work. The Design Automation API for Inventor allows you to:

  • Configure - perform engineering automation for product definition, sales configuration to ensure complete and correct quoting, and exploration of solution spaces to show what is possible for a given product offering
  • Export - automatically create multiple output formats to support your workflow needs, create drawings and BOMs, or create custom integrations to other systems such as MRP or MES
  • Generate - create many different design alternatives for review and consideration, automatically generate complete product families or portfolios, and validate models for completeness or compliance to standards

Customers who use are currently using the Forge Design Automation APIs enjoy a wide range of benefits. The most significant is a significant improvement in performance and job throughput--job completion time has commonly been reduced from multiple days to just minutes for many jobs. Customers have also seen lower operational costs while simultaneously improving scale and reliability. Companies who have invested in on-prem automation solutions have fixed costs for hardware, software, and staff to keep their systems operational. These systems rarely scale dynamically to meet uneven or spikes workloads. By using cloud-based design automation services, companies only pay for the services they use and don't have to worry about the associated operational costs. Cloud-based services also scale dynamically to meet changing workload needs. In short, you pay for what you use and nothing else.

This webinar is for anyone interested to learn more about the benefits of using the Forge Design Automation API for Inventor. If you have not yet automated any of your routines, or you are already building automation, this webinar can help you along your path. Join us to see how you can run Inventor API and/or iLogic routines in the Cloud.
